The Bookkeeping Center (TBKC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, builds opportunity for unemployed, under-employed and low-income individuals. We provide NYC metro-area residents with affordable, specialized financial training and job readiness assistance. DISCOVERBOOKKEEPING offers instruction in the fundamental tools of bookkeeping and computerized accounting software, as well as career development opportunities. Upon successful completion of the program, students are equipped with the basic occupational skill-set to enter into the field of accounting. We provide our students the necessary training for their professional growth, as an individual, in the community, and as vital members of the workforce.
