A single mother from Burma with a degree in zoology and some experience in bookkeeping, she came to America knowing little English and a strong interest in building her accounting and computerized accounting skills. After becoming unsatisfied as an entry-level bookkeeper in New York City, she found out about DiscoverBookkeeping from the Workforce1 Center at Laguardia Community College. During her time at DISCOVERBOOKKEEPING 2008, she found a full-time job as a bookkeeper in Brooklyn. With her new knowledge of QuickBooks, Bi Chu was able to find a position that challenges her to this day. Maurice continues to counsel Bi Chu in bookkeeping, tutoring her in intricacies of the latest QuickBooks Payroll software. |
